VIBAK Testing – Mileage & Travel Policy

🔹 Policy Overview
VIBAK Testing is a mobile DNA collection service operating across Great Britain. To provide transparent and fair pricing, our mileage policy ensures clients are only charged for extended travel beyond our standard service area.

 
🚗 Standard Travel Coverage
Each booking includes the first 10 miles of travel (round trip) from our base location.
This covers most local appointments within our normal catchment area.
 
📍 Additional Mileage Charges
For any travel beyond the 10-mile allowance, we charge £0.45 per mile (round trip).
This rate is in line with HMRC’s approved mileage rate, covering fuel, vehicle wear and tear, insurance, and travel time.
Mileage is calculated based on the round-trip distance using Google Maps from our base postcode.
 
🧾 How It’s Quoted
You’ll be informed of any travel charges before confirming your booking.
Travel fees are added to your total and paid securely at checkout.
For legal appointments, a full mileage breakdown can be included in your invoice upon request.
 
🛑 Parking & Congestion Charges
Where applicable, additional charges such as parking fees, congestion zone charges, or tolls may be added to your invoice. These will be communicated in advance where possible.
